Volunteers:

Participation House - Waterloo Wellington encourages the use of volunteers in many capacities throughout the organization. Volunteers are used in one-to-one matches, group activities or on the Board of Directors. In the one-to-one program volunteers are matched with a client to assist him/her to pursue in-house or community-based recreation and leisure time opportunities. In the group volunteer program, volunteers may run a bingo night or help build a new garden shed.

Participation House welcomes volunteers who are willing to make a commitment to serve on the Board of Directors. All these types of volunteer programs are designed to meet the needs of the volunteer and the organization, which in turn provides mutual satisfaction for both the volunteer and the recipient of their services.
