Rehabilitation Support Worker

 

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team reporting to the Manager of ABI Transitional Living, you will be responsible for the implementation of Individual Rehabilitation Plans, documentation of the client’s participation and interaction with the service delivery team/client in the rehabilitation process. The Rehabilitation Support Worker will require an understanding of brain injury rehabilitation principles and best practices and will be required to liaise with regulated health professionals and other significant support persons who are involved with a brain injury client.

 

 

Requirements:

 

· 2 years post secondary diploma in Social Services or Developmental Services

· Rehabilitation and Behavioural courses.

· 3 years demonstrated experience in rehabilitation (ABI or Developmental Services)

· Rehabilitation and ABI behaviour management experience

· Ability to communicate effectively (both written and oral English)

· Level C CPR/First Aid

· Current Criminal Record Check

· TB Test

· Reliable vehicle

· Valid drivers license

· Knowledge and use of computer software
